The word is getting out--whole grains are good for you!

Whole grains are packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and important phytonutrients, including antioxidants. Still, there’s a lot of confusion about what whole grains are and how much should be included in a healthy diet.

The 2005 Dietary Guidelines recommend Americans should eat 6 servings of grain-based foods a day, 3 of which should be whole grain, yet most Americans barely eat 1 serving of whole grains a day. Learn what whole grains are and how you can easily add them to your diet.
